CareerAid is a Private Voluntary Organization established on the 14th February, 2015. It was formed to offer practical career development services, promoting the cultivation of positive attitudes and values to individual’s lives, studies and careers. Founded by vibrant young people, CareerAid has developed drastically over the past year to impact diverse communities in Zimbabwe.

Career Fair at LongCheng Plaza
We're not just a website, you know? We host events and recently had a very successful one on the 18th of March. The Career Fair held at Horizon Ivato Mall in Harare was conceived with the intention onf connecting companies with vacancies, internships and scholarships with school learners and job seekers. Organisations in attendance included: Old Mutual, Monash University South Africa, CBZ, University of Lusaka, POSB, The British Council, Great Zimbabwe University and Africa University. Stakeholders Career Convention
Also, on the 9th of April 2016 CareerAid partnered with NovusCapitas to facilitate a Stakeholders Careers Convention aimed at housing organisations and individuals who are concerned with career guidance and planning under one roof, to engage in and discuss issues that have not been given enough attention and then to come up with possible solutions to these issues.
The main objective of the convention was to highlight the importance of career guidance and planning in Zimbabwe as well as find points of entry from which we can influence career guidance and planning reform at various levels.

Participated at the Zimbabwe Youth Council young entrepreneurs workshop
On the 24th of April CareerAid participated at the Zimbabwe Youth Council Youth Entrepreneurship end of month session which is an event organised by Zimbabwe Youth Council to empower aspiring and accomplished entrepreneurs on what it takes to be an entrepreneur and conducting yourself as an entrepreneur.
HigherLife Foundation global virtual leadership program
On the 2nd of March 2015 CareerAid representatives we invited guest to lead a discussion focusing on young leaders on Global Virtual Leadership Fellowship Online Platform at Higher Life Foundation. Also present at the function was the Chairwomen of the Higher Life Foundation Mrs T Masiyiwa and the Project Co-ordinator Mr G Mateyu.
Full Gospel Church of God in Zimbabwe Young Adults Business Forum
The full Gospel Young Adults Business Forum (YABF) thrust is to educate young people on necessary skills they need to start and operate a business successfully. On 01 May 2015 CareerAid presented a top notch discussion on financial literacy which covered financial management, financial wellness, savings, investments, debt and credit management. This training empowered young people with vital skills needed to succeed in this ruthless and dynamic business landscape.
Participated at the Netherlands Embassy creative entrepreneurship seminar 09 June 2015.
CareerAid was one of the invited guests to participate in a creative start-up business seminar at the Netherlands Embassy in Newlands Harare Zimbabwe. The seminar was chaired by P Klouvas from a renounced entrepreneur from Netherlands but based in South Africa.

We are pleased to report 3 Civil Engineers have been employed by Superior Quality Engineering and Technologies a company based in Polokwane, South Africa.
